狐狸想吃葡萄，它急忙伸手去抓。可是，树太高了，够不着。于是，狐狸用尽力气，跳了上去用手抓，还是没够着，只抓下了几片叶子。它想：我要是能像猫一样会爬树就好了。狐狸又试了好几次，还是没够着。旁边的小兔啦，小鹿啦……都笑狐狸是个傻瓜。
狐狸累得汗流浃背，喘着粗气说：“这葡萄还没熟，一定很酸!一定是不好吃的。”说着它垂头丧气地回家了。它边走边回头看一眼它心爱的葡萄，心里酸酸的。它边走边自己安慰自己说：“这葡萄没有熟，肯定是酸的。”

There lived a fox in the forest.
One day the fox came to a prairie and found a vine. The vine was covered with clusters of bright, fragrant grapes. The fox thought: The grapes must be sweet and delicious! He looked at the grapes, licked his tongue, and slobbered.
